Profile
From October 2025, Dr. Viktor Wesselsky will strengthen the team of the newly founded MVZ RESTART – ORTHO. As an experienced specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery, his focus is on reconstructive knee surgery as well as minimally invasive and open shoulder surgery, including shoulder endoprosthetics (joint replacement). His goal is to restore the best possible function and mobility of his patients through precise surgical techniques and modern treatment approaches.
Previously, Dr. Wesselsky headed the Department of Shoulder and Reconstructive Knee Surgery at the Evangelical Waldkrankenhaus Spandau for over six years, where he played a key role in the further development of the department. He completed the main part of his orthopedic training in this renowned clinic, which enabled him to build up a well-founded and comprehensive orthopedic / trauma surgery expertise.
In addition to arthroscopic surgery and shoulder endoprosthetics, his work focuses in particular
on the diagnosis and surgical correction of leg axis misalignments (osteotomies). He received his doctorate in the field of deformity correction in childhood malpositions. During his training as a pediatric orthopedist at the Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Orthopedics, he continued to study this area intensively and finally deepened his expertise through the Osteotomy Fellowship 2025 of the German Knee Society.
Dr. Wesselsky attaches great importance to individual and patient-oriented care. The focus is on the well-being of the patient, which is served by a well-founded diagnosis, transparent information and a carefully coordinated treatment concept. At MVZ RESTART-ORTO, he contributes his many years of experience and his professional know-how to offer his patients first-class medical care at the highest level.
